I was given a room that was already occupied, and I saw the person inside naked. After they moved me, the replacement room was a downgrade. Earlier, I had politely asked if they could print a two-page letter, and the response was a rude no. There were cockroaches, too, and the service was awful. Worst hotel I've stayed in. Never stay there.

I booked because this was listed as pet friendly, but that wasn't true. Don't assume the amenity details on websites are current if you're bringing a pet, call ahead. Even then, expect they may hang up on you if you voice your frustration.

The room had black mold across the ceiling, muddy floors, and cigarette burns on the sheets. Bathroom faucets were coming loose, the towel had yellow spots, and the windows wouldn't open. The hallway smelled of urine and bleach.

They advertise free breakfast, but there was never any available, and there was no coffee either. The room floors were never clean, so keep your shoes on. If breakfast isn't being provided, the price should be lower.

My husband left behind his grandmother's pillow, the one he used as a boy and treasured after she died. They didn't put it in lost and found for us, and seemed to just leave it in the room for the next guest. I don't even think they have a lost and found. They could have taken two seconds to keep it safe. They lie straight to your face, too. I gave one star only because I couldn't give none, and even that feels far too generous.
