Deluxe Inn Georgetown

We send all our clients here, and they’ve all been happy. The rooms are clean, newly updated, and the staff are gracious and nice. There’s a nice pool, plenty of space for horse trailers, and they’re fine with big rigs parking there. Great place for the price.

We missed breakfast by 15 minutes and hadn’t been given any warning about when it was served. The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was meant to be non-smoking, and there was just one usable outlet. The toilet shifted at the base. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anybody. The only deluxe part was how disappointing the stay was.

We were in town for work and paid a week ahead, but the rooms were so bad that we checked out early without getting a refund. They were dirty, had cockroaches, and were infested with bed bugs. The crew had welts all over their bodies. Our rooms were cleaned only once that week, and each day there was an excuse for skipping them. There are plenty of other hotels nearby with competitive prices, so there’s no reason to stay here.

I’ve seen bed bugs in multiple rooms on more than one occasion. The showers are usually dirty, the rooms all smell bad, and management is rude. They’ll overcharge you, too. The TV doesn’t work half the time. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
