Georgetown Mountain Inn

Room 35 is right beside the staircase, and with the beds against that wall, you can hear people going up and down all day and night. We ended up in that room, so I’d recommend avoiding it. The toilets are also toddler-sized, very low and small. The breakfast room gets cramped when a lot of people are trying to get food; the food itself was simple and acceptable. It’s an older hotel, but very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really liked the pool and hot tub, and the location is close to downtown Georgetown.

The website photos look a little old, but the room itself was great. It was cozy and very clean, with a new mattress and pillows and a newer TV. The woman at the front desk was amazing, and customer service was the best part.

We stayed over New Year’s Eve for night skiing. It’s easy to drive from here to Loveland and Keystone ski resort, and there are lots of restaurants in town within walking distance. Our room was clean, cozy, and reasonably priced, with an awesome view of the rocky mountains right outside. Thanks for having us!

There’s plenty within walking distance, especially in warmer months, including a playground park for kids and a little dog park just behind it. The inn is in a great location, and the two staff members I met were friendly. The small free breakfast was a nice touch, too. It has a cozy, historic Colorado mountain feel, and you can tell they’re working hard to keep the old building clean and make improvements as they can. The indoor pool is small but nice, and there’s a little outdoor hot tub. The place creaks, and you can hear the neighbors sometimes. As a light sleeper, I brought a mini white noise machine, and it worked great. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in Georgetown ♡.
