I slept straight through the night and didn’t hear anyone, so it felt almost like a gated community, lol. The room was huge, nearly like having a separate living room, and the bed was comfortable. The TV had basic cable, and things felt reasonably current for 2021, though not 2026. The bathroom could use a little work, but the water pressure and temperature were great. The front desk guy was friendly. I didn’t catch his name, but he chatted with me at 1 a.m., got me checked in quickly, and spoke with me again briefly around 7:30. Breakfast was decent, too. For $50-70, I felt I got my money’s worth, and the stay exceeded what I expected. I’m writing this while I’m still here before checkout, which I don’t usually do. A great impression for my day visit to Grand Rapids. Thanks! And honestly, anyone leaving a poor review might’ve been really unlucky or very picky. For $50-60, this was an amazing stay.

The rooms were clean, and breakfast included made to order pancakes, coffee, and fresh bagels, all of which were great. I think the toaster is broken, though. The airport shuttle was also great for getting there and back, just a bit pricey.

The people were really professional, and I was pleasantly surprised by how big my room was. It even had an office and an extra pull out bed. I’d never stayed at an Econo Lodge before, but this one was really nice. I’ll definitely come back. 👍✨

The bathrooms had black mold, the showers wouldn’t drain, and the toilets wouldn’t flush. Pipes banged all night, making this the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Nobody speaks English, either. Stay here only as a last resort.

We had a comfortable bed and friendly, excellent room service during our pleasant Independence Day weekend stay in a 1 Queen bedroom. The bathroom looked dated but was clean. Breakfast was complimentary and basic, with cereal and waffles, which made sense for the affordable rates. The hotel sits outside Grand Rapids and worked well as a base for our day trips within 100 miles. You really need a car here since public transportation is minimal, though major grocery stores are close by. I’d recommend it to travelers who have their own vehicle.
