We had a great dinner and enjoyed the entertainment at Rellik Winery, just across the road. The Britt Festival grounds, though, are a little too far to walk to from the property, which is just outside Jacksonville. The carriage house is peaceful, full of historic character, and much roomier inside than we expected. It has two bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, a large, welcoming living room, and a full kitchen. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for, and we felt safe there. We’d happily come back for another quiet, comfortable getaway.

The Bybee estate was a great base for seeing a show at the Britt, and the furnishings worked really well for our young children. We had a lovely stay and will be back.

The owners were kind and accommodating, and the restored house felt both elegant and relaxing. Set in beautiful countryside, it has a gorgeous garden all around it. I really enjoyed my weekend at Bybee Estates.

We spent a relaxing weekend celebrating a secret getaway wedding in Jacksonville with our best friends. They invited us to stay as their only guests at this remarkable bed and breakfast, and I can’t imagine a more perfect setting for it. The grounds were beautifully kept and made a lovely backdrop for wedding photos. Our room was quiet and clean, and the women who run the inn were friendly and helpful without hovering. The owners even lent me a fancy green 1930's glass plate for serving the tiny wedding cake.

The 10 of us are grateful for the wonderful hospitality and plan to return. Our 2015 Cousin reunion was set among beautiful, peaceful grounds and lovely rooms, and breakfast was grand, well beyond what we expected. The owners made us all feel like personal guests.
