Hampton Inn Jacksonville

The clean, well-kept facilities and thoughtful touches made this one of my best hotel stays. There was a personal thank-you card and cold water in the fridge, which I hadn't seen at the other Hilton hotels we've used. After a long drive, that water was a welcome extra. Even the ice maker looked cleaner than any I've seen. The staff were warm and inviting from arrival through departure, and I'd love to come back.

For a three-star place, it's about as good as you can hope for. It was clean and felt safe, which is what I expect at this price. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. Seems like a good option for a quick overnight or a baseball tournament.

Noe at the front desk was especially helpful and sweet, going out of her way for my coworkers and me. She was there with a smile whenever we passed, and warm cookies were waiting after work each day. The hotel itself was super clean, and breakfast had a different hot dish every morning. The pool was nice, too. I was in Jacksonville for orientation and had a great stay. I'd recommend it and would stay here again if I'm back in town.

We've stayed here for years, and the beds have always been clean and comfortable. The furniture and decor are a bit worn. My main issue was the public and breakfast area: the cabinets and woodwork were so dusty you could draw in it. At least the counters where the breakfast items were set out were clean.
