For one night we paid 69, and the room was so creepy we were actually scared. It smelled strongly of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room, and it was freezing because the heat wasn’t on. It took hours to warm up, with no warm blankets available. The lamp had no bulb, and we found a cockroach and two other bugs. We photographed the bugs, peeling wallpaper, and strange writing on the mirror, though we couldn’t figure out how to post the pictures here.

In one night we got a strong smoke smell, peeling wallpaper, rusty fixtures, dead and live bugs, stains all over the mattresses, and a mini fridge that smelled badly rotten. There was no water pressure and no hot water. Around midnight, locals parked by our room, asked for cigarettes, and blasted music. Those were just the problems we ran into in a single night. I’m sure the hotel has plenty of other “charming” features too.

After traveling all day, we arrived and they couldn’t find our reservation. We waited a while before the manager explained there’d been a fire and they couldn’t give us a room. He said we could stay at the Ramada next door for $10 more. It wasn’t about the amount, but we hadn’t caused the booking problem, so I asked them to cover the extra $10. He kept saying they couldn’t and that it wasn’t much money. After a lot of arguing back and forth, he decided to cancel our reservation and leave us to sort it out ourselves. That was the worst customer service and hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’m horrified a business like this is still operating. Stay far away.

The facial towels looked like they hadn’t been washed, and there were bed bugs. A roach of some kind crawled out from my pillow. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced, and it should be shut down for health and safety reasons.

I’ve lived across the street in an apartment building for over a year, and wanted to share what it’s like nearby. The hotel looks scary from outside, and the guests are usually construction workers. There are police there every night and day. On several nights, sirens woke my kids, then the flashing police lights continued for an hour or more. They turn the sirens off when they arrive. I’m assuming the owner takes advantage of very poor people and criminals, calling the police on them so they get arrested while he keeps their money for the night. Seeing reviews from honest, hardworking people finding bugs and disgusting conditions made me sad. This place needs to be shut down.
