I’m an advocate for unhoused people, and we were sent to help a man with a pet who was having problems with the day manager after speaking with night management. The staff don’t communicate when shifts overlap. Finding housing with a pet is especially hard when someone is unhoused. These situations call for patience and basic humanity, qualities I’d expect in a customer service job, and which I’m sure are in this Company’s job descriptives. Instead, I heard and saw the day manager and his female cleaning staff discuss the man in the hallway, huddle together, chuckle, and try to belittle him in public. They seemed comfortable mocking him where others could see and hear. When there’s a disagreement, I wish your Company were better represented. Speaking to someone as if they’re beneath you reveals the manager’s motive: to humiliate and demean him in front of others and make himself seem superior. That’s unprofessionalism and actual exhibited hate. Thank you.

The hotel is very close to the airport, which worked well since I’m flying out this morning. My room was fairly clean, though I spotted a bobby pin by the sink, so the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Breakfast was pretty good and had most of what you’d want, except eggs. I’ll try to space here again next time I fly out of Kansas City.

Jesse at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and made check-in easy. He answered all our questions, smiled, and even suggested nearby restaurants and attractions. Our room was ready when we arrived, and everything was spotless. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and Jesse’s helpful service made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. He really went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

The owners recently changed it into a Quality.Inn from another hotel, maybe a Sleep Inn, though I’m not sure. They’re remodeling, and a few improvements are already in place. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Quite impressed.

The breakfast didn’t have much that you could grab and take with you, which was the one downside. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and really nice, service was good, and the shower felt divine while my sinuses were acting up. Good value for a restful night.
