Blue Haven Motel I-75 North Exit 128&129

A friend of mine stays here on a biweekly rate, which seems outrageous for the condition of the rooms. They’re clean, but very outdated, and the beds look and feel older than the bathroom tile. Some of that tile is very sharp. I cut my hand on the broken soap holder in the shower/tub. An older Indian lady was very rude and charged me $20 extra for staying 7 hours because I work in rocky top and wanted to stay there to get to work early the next day. Other hotels have much nicer rooms and owners.

Inside, the room was nice and clean, with a microwave and fridge. There was a slight smell when I first opened the door, but it went away once I turned on the air. I couldn’t find any clothes hangers. It’s an older motel and the facilities haven’t been modernized, which is why I gave it 2 stars. Still, for someone on a budget, it’s a reasonable and quite nice option compared with some places I’ve stayed.

The room was spacious and spotless, with multiple dressers, a couch, and an eating table. The flat-screen TV had clear cable, the phone worked, and the Wi-Fi was pretty good. Employees were very nice, too. It’s a little retro, but I think it’s a great place to stay, especially for the excellent price.

A quiet, clean, comfortable place to rest on the road, and I had no problems at all. There was a micro-fridge in the room. The decor is dated and it’s definitely not a luxury hotel, but that doesn’t matter when you just need an inexpensive place to get some sleep.
