The staff were friendly, but the place is badly run down. The hallway carpets need replacing and the elevator crawls along in a way that feels scary. My room wasn't clean when I arrived: the table was sticky, there were crumbs in the microwave, and the TV remote was so gross I had to wipe it down. The curtains and bedspreads were stained, too. The bathroom fan sounds like a plane taking off. For a nonsmoking hotel, finding a cigarette burn on a sheet and smelling smoke on the second floor was especially unpleasant. They really need a new cleaning crew.

Mireya Montelongo made our stay great. She was so kind and accommodating, and check-in went smoothly because of her. The rest of the staff were nice too. We had a great room, and breakfast was a nice extra. Thanks again for such a great stay!

I was only here for eight hours after an emergency turned my layover into an overnight stop, and the low price had me keeping my expectations modest. Still, I have a longer trip coming up and would never stay here again. The room smelled awful, the toilet kept running, and the walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbors' intimate activities at all hours. The elevator looked like it might send you to your doom, and the room door was so heavy it was nearly impossible to open. In an emergency, I can't imagine it meeting fire codes. The bedding looked clean, but I planned to shower thoroughly once I reached my final destination. There was a large bare spot where the photos showed a couch and table, so the room was missing furniture and looked tacky. The location also felt sketchy, and I wouldn't walk around alone. I spent the stay counting down to checkout. Don't stay here.

After 50 years of traveling around the world, I've never been this dissatisfied or angry with a hotel. At check-in I paid cash but wasn't given a receipt, so I had to go back downstairs and ask for one. I should have known better and accept some blame for that. There was no paperwork to sign either. I was exhausted and just wanted to get to my room. This felt like a flop house full of street people, not a hotel. There was no security in the parking lot, and people hung around the hallways and stairs. Near midnight, people were doing laundry in the room next to mine. I could hear the washer and dryer humming loudly through the walls. The heater didn't work, and there were no maintenance staff on duty at night. When I called the desk clerk about it, she had an attitude. There were singed electrical outlets in the room, and the plugs and lamps stuck out from the wall loosely, which seemed like an electrical hazard. The bathroom ceiling was gross, with the popcorn finish falling apart. The elevators, carpets, and couch were filthy, the place stank, and the desk had no lamp for working. The refrigerator was warm, the wall heater was half torn off, and all the screens were ripped. This is worse than Bangkok. I hope people read this because the online pictures don't show what the place is really like. I thought the discount looked decent, but found out the hard way that you get what you pay for. I'm checking out tomorrow morning, getting my cash back, and finding another hotel.

This location was a real disappointment, even though the name behind it and the location itself have usually been reliable for a quick stay. The lobby looks overdue for a refresh, and the walls on the way to the elevator are dented, damaged, and dirty. The elevator needed much more than a bit of Windex and vacuuming. Then in the room, there were spiders in the bathroom corners, the tub was wet as if someone had just used it, and the carpets weren't clean. There were cigarette burns on the sink, and I didn't feel like sleeping under those linens. At least the air conditioner worked really well. It makes me sad, because the right management and a little work on every shift could fix a lot.
