Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel

A good value for business travelers, with clean modern rooms and comfortable beds. It’s close to the convention center and monorail, and costs less than hotels on the Strip. An often-overlooked practical choice with dependable quality and none of the resort chaos.

The location takes a bit of walking to reach the main attractions, but we like walking, so that was fine. We had a wonderful conference stay, and check-out was easy. The 24/7 fitness center was a nice bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view, coffee and tea, water, and the essentials. Housekeeping was respectful and kept it neat. Yousef made us feel welcome at check-in and explained the hotel facilities and amenities warmly and professionally. At Zio’s, Christy, Luis, and the kind weekend staff member were friendly and helpful. The Club Lounge team, including John and the two women serving breakfast, were attentive, warm, and professional. Great staff and memorable service.

Suzanne made a big difference on my final night. I’d been asking about my complimentary ticket options at check-in and each night, but kept getting standard answers that didn’t fit. She listened, asked the right questions, and found tickets that worked for my situation instead of repeating the corporate script. That care deserves recognition. The staff at the door made the hotel feel welcoming. One gentleman was always cheerful and upbeat, clicking his pen with quick energy. When he wasn’t there, the hospitality noticeably changed. Another team member kept the outside area tidy, checked the ashtrays, and even looked behind the bushes to make sure guests were safe. Housekeeping was warm throughout, and my room stayed spotless and comfortable. The restaurant team was kind even in the heavy post-convention rush. The bartenders were professional and handled huge crowds gracefully, though they seemed overworked. More staff would help both them and guests, since a few seconds to connect makes a difference. The people who take pride in their work made my convention stay a great one. A few staffing adjustments in key areas could make it even better.

The hotel is clean and very nice. It’s off the Strip, but the monorail stop beside the Las Vegas convention center makes it convenient. My only complaint was housekeeping coming in before checkout and taking all the towels and sheets without replacing them. I’m not sure why they’d do that.
