Comfort Inn & Suites Lexington - Hamburg I-75

Check-out was simple, just drop the tire keys in the box. I didn’t get a chance to use the free Wi-Fi. The room was a nice one with a king bed, and the bed, pillows, and blankets were clean and comfortable. There was a $100 deposit, which I suppose isn’t terribly unusual. Getting checked in took at least an hour. I left and came back, but was still waiting at 1:am. Someone checked me in only after I called, and I’m not sure they were even on duty. The room faced the highway, and every time a semi went by, it used its compression break. Light sleepers probably won’t get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was okay, somewhere between the best and worst I’ve had. The coffee cups were small, so I needed two to go. If you usually have a “grande,” you might want three.

Breakfast had plenty of fresh options, which was a nice extra. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures, heating, and air all worked as they should. The friendly staff were easy to talk to and made check-in feel smooth and welcoming. It was a pleasant, easy stay, and I appreciated how well the team kept things running.

The food was a highlight: cheese omelets, hashbrowns, crispy bacon, plus yogurt, cereal, fruit, waffles, juices, and coffee fixings. It was easy to find the hotel and convenient for getting where I needed to go. The room was clean and very comfortable, with good beds and pillows, and the toilet, tub, sinks, and heat and air were all fine. We usually stay at Country Inn & Suites, but Comfort Inn was a tiny bit cheaper this time. We make this trip every November, and I think I’ve found next year’s room!

Breakfast was hot and well stocked, and the employee serving it was friendly and did a great job. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient as well. The hotel was nice, though the room’s dark brown colors made it feel dim and dingy. A lighter color with some brighter accents would give it more energy. The interstate noise was annoying, so if I came back I’d request a room on the other side, away from the highway.
