Chautauqua Lodge

The kitchen was ready for us to cook a proper meal, and there was plenty of room in the parking lot. We were so close to the ocean, and the room made for an amazing-value weekend. Everyone seemed cheerful, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely come back for another beach trip.

The beach path is so convenient that we walked there barefoot from our room. We arrived at 11:30pm, and Victoria was at the desk, ready to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast hit the spot each morning, and the atmosphere felt welcoming for kids and families. It’s animal friendly too. 10/10, definitely check it out!

We had plenty of space to sleep, with a king bedroom, a queen mattress in the living area, and a futon couch. Our room had two bathrooms, including one with a shower, and the beds were really comfortable. The condo kitchen was a great bonus, especially for making a late meal when places near the beach had closed. I slept like a baby. There was a patio with seating and gas fireplaces, plus horseshoe pits and cornhole. Tennis courts are off to one side of the main parking lot. Bring bikes, skateboards, or longboards if you have them, since there’s a long paved boardwalk by the beach, just a short walk from the resort. The views were amazing. From arrival until we left, we felt at home and at peace. The front desk staff were lovely and got us into our room quickly. We had a great time, and I hope to come back soon. I’ll recommend it to family and friends.

Breakfast was okay, but go early because they run out quickly. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were nice, and the microwave was high speed. The carpet didn’t feel very clean, though, and the room was a letdown, especially on the ground floor with loud, inconsiderate people above us. Don’t count on relaxing.
