There’s a big field behind this Magnuson that runs down to the waterfront, so there’s plenty of room to walk your dog. Pets are allowed for a small fee, and the staff love dogs. The only downside is that there aren't dog waste stations near the field, so bring your own bags as we do. Our stay was comfortable, the room was clean, and the fresh linens and bedding were clean too. Our host was gracious, and I have nothing to complain about with the hotel or staff. The folks running this hidden gem on the North side of Marietta, in Ohio, deserve credit. I'd highly recommend it.

I grew up in the area, and this motel has been here forever. It isn't the Ritz, but for what we paid it was well worth it. My boyfriend and I stayed over Thanksgiving, and found the place clean and comfortable. It's a plus that they still have smoking rooms for those of us with bad habits. The staff were friendly and ready to answer questions. We'll be back!

We brought a group of over 40 people, and they took great care of us. It's a nice area to visit, and we'll come back and stay again. This family-run business feels like a step back in time, in a hotel built around 1950, but it's clean and has had lots of updates. The rooms were clean, there's a nice small breakfast area, and the rooms have a fridge and coffee pot.

There's a Wendy's on one side and a gas station on the other. It's the only hotel in Marietta with smoking rooms.
