WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham Boise - Meridian

The location worked out well, with easy freeway access and plenty of food options a short drive away. The price felt fair, and I was pleasantly surprised by how large the rooms were and how many amenities the property had.

We’ll be back next year, and I hope we see Natalie again. I love this hotel, and my son asks to come back every Christmas as his present. We first stayed last year on Christmas Eve because of an unexpected family emergency, and he loved it. This time, we’d been unexpectedly moved from the room we’d reserved. Natalie, who’s a great employee and a mother herself, understood how much our room and our tradition mattered to me and my son. She fixed the room mix-up right away and even gave us an extra blanket for watching movies. Thank you, Waterwalk and Natalie. You saved our trip and our family ritual.

The kitchen was well equipped with an induction hob, sink, full-size fridge, and full-size dishwasher. There’s plenty of free parking, and lots of restaurants are a short drive away. Rooms are spacious, and the price was competitive. As an extended-stay place, housekeeping is limited, which is expected. The staff were friendly, professional, and knew their stuff. I’d stay again on my next visit to Boise.

I do love it here and had a great experience overall. We moved to a two-bedroom room and had to wait for it to be cleaned and ready. When we checked in, it smelled strongly of pets, so I couldn’t sleep peacefully and started wondering whether the whole room had been cleaned and sanitized. I cleaned it myself to settle my mind, then found trash under the bed and couch, so it hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was also trash piled by the outside door. I wish some guests would respect the place and stop being lazy and entitled. People like that can make a nice looking property seem ghetto.
