Rodeway Inn & Suites and Conference Center

The grounds were huge and fun to explore, and the place felt clean, cozy, and very safe, with security at night. The staff were the nicest imaginable at late night check-in, and the breakfast attendant was friendly and informative. I wish more of it were still up and running. There’s a lot of potential here, with two pools, two courtyards, rooms overlooking the atrium, a gym, restaurant, and hot tub. I hope it gets restored without being modernized so much that it loses its charm. I can’t wait to see it.

It was so quiet, just what I wanted. The room was spacious and clean, and the woman at the front desk was really helpful when she got us a room. After some awful stays with unprofessional staff, like at Motel 6 in West Monroe, this place felt like a breath of fresh air. I loved it.

We were very pleased with everything at Rodeway Inn. The room was clean, cool when we arrived, and the fridge was already on for our snacks. The front desk staff were quick and pleasant, and the woman there even put ice in our ice chest and drink cups since we’re on a motorcycle. Breakfast was delicious, and we got a gift bag with water and a snack the night before. Ten stars! We’d recommend the hotel and would book again if we do the Run for the Wall. Breakfast was the best part, and I had no complaints about it. Getting my $100 deposit back was another matter: the woman said they only return it if you have the receipt, which I did. My second room looked beautiful at first glance, though it was a queen rather than a king. The flat screen TV showed two tones, and the tub was disgusting. The first room smelled like crap, and turning on the fan made it worse. When I looked behind the bed, I saw roach repellent splattered there, so I called and asked to move. The representative was helpful and switched my room, but this wasn’t what I expected from a Choice Hotel.
