Grand Wood Suites feels like a peaceful spot in the heart of downtown Nashville, Indiana. Shops and restaurants are just steps away, and the walkability is hard to beat. The owners are family-centered and make you feel like part of the family, with warmth that really stands out. There’s history and charm all around, and the fall foliage and views are beautiful. You can hear birds singing, which adds to the peaceful feel. The security system and cameras helped me feel at ease, too. A cozy, convenient place to stay.

For our 10-year anniversary, we stayed in the one-bedroom apartment, which was clean, cozy, and nicely set up for a romantic weekend. Being able to walk everywhere in Nashville made exploring the town easy and fun. I can’t think of anything I’d change. I’d recommend it and will most likely book again.

My wife and I have stayed in plenty of hotels over the past 30 years, and this was our best room yet. It was quiet and clean, and the staff member I spoke to was super helpful, getting us into a beautiful room at the very last minute. We’ll definitely be back.

I love how private this place feels, even with everything within walking distance. The rooms are big, and the bed is so comfortable. After seeing how awesome downtown Nashville Indiana is, this is our new home away from home!

Free parking was a real bonus, and getting from the car park to the rooms was easy. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, inside and out, with lovely, well-equipped rooms and unique furniture that takes your breath away. The whole place has a memorable ambience. We visited from the UK and got a taste of real, authentic old America while staying here on our way to the Ark Experience in Kentucky. It’s a wonderful boutique hotel for exploring the picturesque pioneer town of Nashville and the surrounding countryside, including nearby Brown County State Park. A special place to spend a few nights.
