For a little birthday getaway, coming here turned out to be a great call. The suite was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed: TV, Wi-Fi that I couldn't access, a thermometer, ventilation in both the bedroom and bathroom, iron and board, blow dryer, towels, shower gel, hand soap, trash cans, safe, and an ice bucket. The ice machine was broken, though. The website said no smoking indoors, but I still found a way, LMFAOO 🤷🏾♂️ The workers were friendly and helpful whenever I got locked out or needed anything. Even though I checked in late, the front desk staff were polite. They also said I'd get a refund for the extra $100 they took when I arrived, in two to three business days after checkout. It's been two days and I'm still waiting, and that charge bothered me all night. The gym is pretty weak, with only dumbbells and treadmills, but I made the most of it. I hadn't been to a gym in years, so I can't complain too much. Still got a nice little pump. Hotel 1200 was good to me, and I'd recommend it for a weekend getaway or mini vacation.

The staff at Hotel 1200 were professional and flexible, especially Raj, Laura, George, and the maintenance and floor managers. They went out of their way to get me the Corner King room with the bathtub I wanted. The room was clean and comfortable, with a desk, TV, closet, drawers, mini-fridge, microwave, and lovely lighting choices. The location is right by the J train for a quick trip into the city, but the insulated windows kept the room surprisingly quiet. There's a Walgreens, good bodegas, bars, and a food cart just steps away. As a professional construction contractor, massage therapist, and counselor, I appreciated how accommodating they were with my tools, gear, and guests. They were flexible about storing my luggage and let my two ESAs wait in the lobby during a third-party scheduling issue. For the price, the value and hospitality, including at sister hotels Hotel 1080 and BKLYN House, are unmatched. Highly recommended!

Hanna and Raj took great care of me and made sure I had what I needed, especially during the giant snow storm. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for my stay. The location is easy to reach and makes getting into lower Manhattan simple. I'd recommend it!

In an emergency in the middle of the night, I needed somewhere to stay, and this was the only nearby hotel that answered when I called after 2am to ask about availability. Laura at reception was incredibly kind and understanding, even though I wasn't at my best. I've never had such kindness and hospitality at a hotel. The room was nice and clean, with the train nearby and bodegas, etc.

The room was super clean, organized, and put together, with a microwave and fridge. I've stayed in plenty of hotels where the mini fridge barely holds anything, but this one had a full-size fridge. The 24/7 coffee and tea station downstairs in the lobby was a 10/10. Kayla and Lourdes welcomed me so kindly, and their smiles made me feel at home. Kayla remembered every detail from our reservation phone call hours earlier, which was impressive. George was also so hospitable and funny, and we had great conversations whenever I came and went. He always asked if I was okay and how I was enjoying the stay. Hotel 1200 will definitely see me again.
