Booking at the last minute went smoothly, and everything else was great. The room was a decent size, though I’m only about 90 lbs. The toilet and sink are in their own bathroom, separate from the shower area, which has about two showers. The shower space itself was oddly small.

The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s no elevator for suitcases. Otherwise, the room had what a traveler needs, including a king bed, two lovely street-facing windows, hangers, a rack to keep clothes from wrinkling, and an iron for last-minute use. The showers and toilets were always pristine, and the shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap were good quality. I’d recommend it to friends. Thanks for all your help!

I stayed six days and had a comfortable room that was great for sleeping well. The place matched the listing, and the location made it easy to get to the subway. Some reviews mention access problems, but I found the listing clear. Just follow the check-in instructions in the email carefully. I recommend it.

I made a last-minute booking at 3 pm, arrived at 11 pm, and was told by phone that check-in had to be done by 9 pm and I could no longer stay. When I asked for a refund, they sent me to the booking company and spoke rudely. The booking email explained online check-in but never said it had to be completed by a certain time. It seems unreasonable to expect guests to meet an undisclosed deadline; arriving at a hotel at 11 pm is normal. I filed a claim with my bank, and Morris Guest House submitted what I believe was fake evidence claiming I never showed up and that they would otherwise have let me stay. I had a whole phone conversation with them, which they now deny. The people who work here seem subtly evil.
