Extended Stay America Charleston Airport

Having a full kitchen and a roomy, clean room made the extended stay comfortable. The hotel is also just minutes from the airport, with dining and shopping nearby. Staff made check-in and checkout easy, and the quiet atmosphere helped me unwind after long days. Laundry access and plenty of parking were handy too. I felt at home here and would recommend it for either a short visit or a longer stay in Charleston.

The staff are really friendly, and the room works fine for a work trip since I'm not in it all day. I put in a request to get a few things fixed, but nothing's happened yet. I'll look for a better upgrade next time.

The musty, mildew smell hit me in the lobby and was just as strong in the room. The AC was off, and the floor felt sticky. There was mold growing on the showerhead, and the fridge kept cycling loudly the whole time. I skipped showering there. I only booked it because nothing else nearby was available for my business trip to Charleston, and I would've switched hotels if there'd been another room. If you want somewhere that makes you think twice about taking your shoes off, this is it.

The room had a toilet that wouldn't flush, mold in the sinks, cracked walls, sticky floors, and gum stuck all over. The sheets smelled like body odor, the dishwasher and fridge were rusty, and there were bodily fluids on the chairs. The lobby reeked of smoke, and the whole place had foul odors. The elevator got stuck on the ground floor, repeatedly opening, closing, and dinging. Water had foreign material in it, and the rooms looked like apartments from the 1980s. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. This place was unsanitary, outdated, and disgusting, and I want to warn people. I'll never stay here again.
