Residence Inn Charleston Airport

We only needed a room for one night because my son had an early appointment at MUSC, so we drove in from two hours away. Check-out took about two minutes, and the woman who checked us in was friendly. Parking was easy, and there were plenty of carts to get all our luggage upstairs. Everything inside was clean. The suite felt like an apartment, with a bedroom, TV room, and a kitchen stocked with a freezer, fridge, toaster, microwave, and more. It’s beside Tanger Outlets and the airport, with restaurants easy to reach. We’ll stay here again when we come to Charleston on vacation.

I’ll be coming back, and I’d recommend Residence Inn by Marriott Charleston Airport to friends, family, and colleagues. Even with the hotel full, Dominique, the Sales Manager, found a way to extend my stay when I asked at the last minute. The front desk team and manager were warm, checked me in quickly, and were flexible with what I needed. Housekeeping also did a great job. Stephanie gave my room a deep clean on a day when it was only scheduled for a refresh, and I appreciated the extra care and attention. The whole team made me feel welcome and looked after.

I had a kitchen in my room, which was just what I needed for a long work week. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay, and Chris Benton, the hotel manager, arranged a late checkout when my flight was delayed. The area felt safe, with restaurants, a shopping center, and the airport close by. I had a great time here and would stay again on my next work trip.

There’s a lot to like here, with plenty of amenities indoors and out, and the service was very good. My only gripe was the early check-in request I made in the Marriott Bonvoy app, about three hours before I arrived. My room wasn’t ready until 3 PM. Luckily, it was a nice day and I could pass the time with the corn hole setup outside.
