I keep coming back when I travel along I-80 to see family. The price is very reasonable for basic accommodations, and the place has always been clean and in good working order. A bit of recent remodeling has made it look nicer, and the staff, who seem to be family-run, are willing to help with special requests. The beds are good, the linens are new, and the soap, shampoo, and conditioner come in nice refillable pump dispensers. Breakfast is modest, so if you need sausages and eggs, McDonalds is there on your way out. The walls are somewhat thin, so I use a white noise app for hallway and upstairs sounds. The pet fee is reasonable.

A comfortable, affordable place to relax, with clean rooms, tasty breakfast, and Lake McConaughey nearby. It also had electric features. The bell hop was a fun guy to practice sign language with, even though he wasn’t fluent in English. From his perspective, I wasn’t fluent in Hindi either. Always look on the bright side of life.

I had an awful check-in despite booking in advance. I waited 45 minutes, and with no manager or owner in sight, I had to call out to ask whether anyone was available. When he finally came out, he seemed drunk, sloppy, and barely coherent; he’d apparently been passed out in the back instead of working the front desk. Then he watched my family and me in a creepy way as we left. I’m disgusted with Days Inn, especially since it should be under Wyndham Hotels’ care.

A very convenient, clean, and comfortable stop while driving across I-80, and the price is hard to beat. I’d stay again.

Restaurants are within walking distance, and the people here were friendly. The place was clean, and breakfast was pretty well stocked with cereal, oatmeal, toast, waffles, fruit, juice, coffee, and yogurt.
