Brandon made us feel welcome when we arrived, and even checked in the following night to see whether we were happy. That was great service, especially since we’d come for a funeral after a terrible experience at another hotel. We showed up around 10 pm, exhausted and overwhelmed with our four kids. I was disappointed that room service never came on Tuesday or Wednesday, even though the front desk confirmed our rooms were on the list. We’d had it once, the morning after we arrived, then requested it again. There was no compensation for the missed service. The trash piled up, we had lots of towels, and the bed we’d asked to have changed was still dirty, so the room felt cluttered. A microwave in the room would be much better than having one shared in the lobby or ice room. The heated pool wasn’t warm at all, and there were lots of hard bandages on the ground around the pool deck.

The people are what bring me back. Joe, the GM, and the whole team are friendly and helpful, and they seem to care that guests have a good stay. I travel here for work often, and several coworkers stay here too. We all feel the same way. There’s live music during the week, a solid gym, a nice pool, and an outdoor area with chairs and games when the weather’s nice. The hotel is always clean and well kept. Rooms are great, and there are lots of good places to eat nearby. I’ve stayed at other Marriott hotels in Omaha, but this is the one I keep choosing.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped make this a good choice for a spacious, fun stay in Omaha. I got upgraded to a huge, clean, modern room that felt more like an apartment, with a living room, kitchen area, and foosball table. Great for relaxing, if only I’d had someone to share it with! There were several maintenance issues: the shower bottles were sitting on the floor instead of attached to the wall, the bathroom vinyl flooring had gaps, and the towel bar was loose when I hung up towels. The shower grout was dirty and didn’t keep water in very well, and the AC unit was pretty noisy.

Beth greeted us with a smile as soon as we approached the door. She was patient and professional, and the GM Joseph was just as professional and honest. I spoke with Joseph about life, and he made my day. He’s a walking angel, full of strength and courage, and really great at his job. I’ve never met someone in such a senior position who was so professional and still so positive and bright. The hotel and rooms were shockingly clean, with nothing out of place. Joseph and Beth are lovely people, and everything is kept up to par. Aloft is where I’ll have date nights, kids’ nights, and family nights!

Beth and Joe the General Manager treated us with so much kindness and hospitality. The service was above and beyond, and the hotel was impeccable, with clean floors and carpet. Even the smell of the place made me feel like a king in a palace. My wife and I are getting married on the 28th, and they took great care of us. We’re definitely planning to come back. Shout out again to Beth and Joe. If you want five-star service, this is the place! 💯🎉
