Days Inn by Wyndham Phenix City Near Fort Benning

The woman at the front desk is really nice, and the guy who works the desk at night is cool too. It’s very quiet, and the AC gets nice and cold. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean room to crash in after a day out.

The rooms were clean and check-in went smoothly, but breakfast was bad and the hallways smelled strongly of pot. The woman working the front desk at night should realize that when she smokes just outside the entrance, the smoke and smell drift inside.

I came for a four-day work conference but stayed only four hours total, just long enough to sleep. My room and my coworkers’ rooms had sticky floors, heavily water-damaged furniture, cracked doors, and questionable stains on chairs and bed covers. The “breakfast” they provided was a joke.

The staff and management are very nice people. My only disappointment was learning they had cemented in the pool, though it’s the wrong time of year for it anyway.
