We chose this hotel mainly because dogs stay free, which was a big perk over other places in PDX. There was even a path for walking dogs, with bags provided, though some pet owners couldn't manage to pick up after theirs. The lot had a few random people and truckers around, but it seemed fine. Plenty of free parking made sense for us since we drove all over town. It's a bit out of the way, and I wouldn't pick it if flying in or relying on public transit. The room seemed renovated within the past few years. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were all business and did their jobs well. I've never heard a vacuum run so much. No wonder the place is so clean. The setting is an industrial wasteland, but don't let that put you off. Casa Diablo is nearby if you want to spice up your life, and everything else is a short drive. Breakfast was the usual blah, but it's free. The coffee was better than at many restaurants. Why not five stars? There's no water bottle filler, and we bring bottles everywhere. A filling station is almost a necessity now. EV charging would be great too, though it isn't a deal breaker. Yes, I'd stay here again on a visit to beautiful Portland.

Having a car is definitely necessary since the location isn't very convenient. Even so, I was satisfied with the stay and felt I got good value for the price. The room was comfortable and clean, the service was good throughout, and breakfast was decent, although there weren't many choices.

Contessa was the best part of my stay. She checked me in, was super professional and accommodating, and always had breakfast ready a few minutes early. The coffee and hot water were fresh, and she even put napkins between the breakfast plates, going that extra bit. I've stayed at a lot of Wyndham hotels and usually choose LaQuinta when I can. I've never had such a great experience. My stay was absolutely fantastic!

The front desk staff gave excellent service, and the room was spacious. But the breakfast was so-so: watery eggs and uncooked sausages aren't a good meal. I brought a Black Light UV Flashlight and found dog urine throughout the carpet. Yuck, I was glad I had slippers. The walls are so thin I could hear every dog barking and every fight above me at 2am. The location isn't ideal either, so a car is a must.

The bed was super comfortable, the room had no weird smells, and the air and heat worked very well. Great water pressure too. I loved that the spa, pool, and fitness center are open 24 hours. I'll definitely be back.
