The floor-to-ceiling windows gave us incredible views over Director's Park, and the building sits right in the middle of downtown, within walking distance of most places. We had plenty of room for our family of five, with two separate bedrooms, a sofa bed, and two full bathrooms so everyone could get ready without crowding. It was quiet, we slept well, and there were no issues with the building. We’ll definitely book here again on our next Portland stay.

The location made getting around easy, with the streetcar and MAX nearby and plenty of shops and places to eat close by. I loved the decor and those floor-to-ceiling windows around the bedroom. I was lucky to get a corner unit on the 8th floor. The bed was comfortable, and it was quieter than I expected. There was a stacked washer and dryer, which was loud but did the job. I could imagine living here if I moved to Portland, and I’ll look for a room here on future work trips.
We’d book this place again. Our spacious corner apartment on the 8th floor had beautiful wraparound views, and it was clean, easy to check in and out of, and had better-than-average linens. You can walk to just about everything from here. A few details kept it from being perfect: scuffs on the walls and furniture, two screws above the bed where artwork seemed to be missing, and just one empty ice tray in the freezer. The extra blanket hadn’t been washed after the previous guest, either. Parking also wasn’t clearly emphasized as an extra, even though the booking form asked whether we needed it. For this price, though, the points off felt fair.
The room was spotless and the accommodations were top notch, with an easy check-in and checkout. Just a heads-up if you’re a light sleeper: our 7th-floor unit faced the light rail, and the noise carried on through the night. I still wouldn’t take away stars for that, since it’s down to the location.
We stayed here while in town for a wedding, and getting around was easy. Downtown bars were a short walk away, and I used a Zipcar from the garage across the street to visit Multnomah Falls. The apartment itself was a great spot for me and my friends. A few things were frustrating: the pullout bed instructions didn’t match the model in the room, one spring was broken, the iron leaked all its water, and there was detergent but no dryer softener. Our neighbor also came by twice to complain about daytime noise, once around noon and again at 5 pm, so the walls may be thin.
