Hyatt Place North Raleigh-Midtown

The room smelled very clean, was spacious, and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable, and we were pleased with our stay. We’d definitely come back. We checked in around 4:30, but the room wasn’t ready, so we had a drink at the bar. It was ready about 20 minutes later. The two guys on duty on 9/28 were so helpful while checking in guests, running the bar, and making food, without seeming stressed. When I stepped off the elevator, I heard a little dog crying and worried we’d hear it, along with the somewhat loud neighbors next door. Once our door was closed, we couldn’t hear a thing. No complaints or suggestions.

The room had a bedroom area, a living room seating space, and a small desk area, all together with plenty of space for a hotel room. It was comfortable, and the place overall was excellent and very comfortable too. The buffet breakfast was a really delicious selection. I didn’t give five stars because that’s the highest rating I save for the most extreme hotels, but this is a fine place.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and I loved my stay. When the shower leaked, an attendant came right away, replaced the shower head, and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. I decided to stay an extra night, and the same attendant was polite and courteous, giving us two free sodas.

The atmosphere has a nice mix of modern hotel and business casual, and the staff were very friendly. I liked the bar choices and the pastries on offer, and my sales team enjoyed staying here. There was a large stain on the carpet in my room and some paper trash on the nightstand, but otherwise it was a nice place for a business overnight.
