Budget Deluxe Motel

The rates are the cheapest around, and the staff treated me and my child with so much kindness and respect. The front desk and housekeeping were very kind after we arrived. I spent over two weeks calling places around Salem, Rolla, and St. Robert about weekly or monthly rates for a family moving to the area. By far, this property was the kindest and most respectful on the phone. It's an older property, but kept up quite well. Knowing it's a small local place helped set my expectations, and I was satisfied. Just be optimistic and understand the difference between a Hilton-style hotel and a local motel or inn. BUDGET DELUX INN was perfect for what we needed. Thanks so much for everything!

In June 2010, my son and I stayed there for several days while I was having another engine put in my car. The cleaners were very nice, and one even shared some of her good coffee with me to make. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough hot water.

That motel sucks. They claim to be pet friendly, but it isn't, and people are rude. It costs $275 a week and isn't worth a damn. I'd sleep in the street before going back. When you speak up, they call you a liar to your face. Please don't go there. They have bed bugs too. My son got bitten, and so did I.

BED BUGS!!!! I was at a friend's place here for maybe an hour, then woke up the next morning covered in bed bug bites. I didn't go anywhere else, so this is the only place I could have picked them up. The room looked clean enough, but it had bugs and seemed very run down. The floor was wet too. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless they already have bugs. Go to rustic motel instead.
