Best Western Roseville Inn

We couldn’t work out why we were all feeling so blah each day until we checked the room before leaving and found black mold under the air conditioner. We told the staff, and all they said was, “Thanks for letting us know.” Not impressed. The beds were alright, but the shower was cracked, leftover towels were still there, and the floors hadn’t been swept or cleaned before we arrived. The front desk staff didn’t really greet us. Breakfast wasn’t horrible, and the location was decent. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you had to.

The beds will put you in a coma, for real, and the rooms were beyond exceptional. This hotel deserves a much higher rating. I’m not from Sacramento, and I’ve booked rooms around here before only to have to cancel, so I was nervous when I drove around the building. The outside looked a little sketchy, but when I walked into the room I was thinking, thank you Lord. Mike checked us in and was so friendly. Everyone at the front desk was friendly. I was up all night with my baby crying and had a whole attitude when I first spoke to Kristen after a misunderstanding. She stayed nice and understanding anyway, and I’m really grateful. She deserves to be the face up there, for real. The manager was great too. We had an honest misunderstanding, but they handled it amazingly. Just don’t play with their staff, lol. Thank you all for an awesome stay.

The staff were nice and got me a room around noon, which helped because nearby places were sold out or couldn’t offer anything until 4 PM. That’s why I’m giving a second star. The bathroom fan was loud and annoying. The room was about what I expected from a Best Western, not the worst, but definitely not the nicest. Then, as I went to sit on the bed, I spotted a small bug. I don’t know what kind it was, and I wasn’t taking chances with bed bugs, so I grabbed my stuff and left immediately.

My son and I stay here around 12 to 15 days a month, so I’m practically a permanent resident. It’s easily the best motel I’ve stayed at. The place is clean, breakfast is great, and the employees are helpful, courteous, and professional. Gabriela and Jessica at the front desk especially stand out.
