Holman Riverfront Park Hotel Salem, Tapestry by Hilton

The restaurant downstairs was excellent, with delicious food at a good price. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautiful, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Jessica also made our last-minute change easy when we needed to arrive a day early. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

I traveled alone for a work event and was especially impressed by how accommodating the staff were. The modern room was comfortable, and I enjoyed the elevated holiday decorations. Holman Riverfront Park hotel is in a hard-to-beat location, and its restaurant turned out to be a delicious bonus. The staff were incredible. Highly recommended!

We didn't have the noise problem I'd read about, and the location is excellent. The room was spacious and nice, but the service was so bad that we won't stay again. Valet parking was a nightmare. When we asked for our car, they brought the wrong one twice and handed us the keys. It took more than 30 minutes to get the right vehicle. The bar wasn't very busy, yet we waited 40 minutes for three drinks, and two were wrong. There were also dirty socks and boxers in the bathroom, presumably left by the previous guests. When we reported them to the front desk, they said they must be ours. We left them on a bathroom shelf. If you're not driving and want a nice downtown room without plans to eat or drink at the hotel, I'd recommend it. If you're bringing a car or plan to dine there, stay somewhere else.

The woman who checked me in was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean, new, and nice. But I had trouble sleeping because of loud cars and traffic at all hours. Earplugs were provided, though they made everything sound underwater and I worried I wouldn't hear my alarm. I ended up installing a white noise app just to sleep. I was told the limited street parking was safe and well lit, and that there hadn't been break-ins. When I checked out in the morning, the car parked next to mine had a smashed window. My car happened to capture security footage of it happening right outside the hotel overnight. The place has potential. It would benefit from secured parking guests can access easily, rather than just valet, and better soundproofing from the road.
