Best Western Plus Downtown North

I had mixed feelings after three days here. The room was very clean, breakfast was truly amazing and the desk staff were perfectly fine. But several issues would keep me from coming back. There was no internet for the entire stay. Other feedback suggests it’s been a problem for eight months, and as someone who stays at many Best Western and motel properties, I’ve never seen this level of technical failure. Management should consider a new ISP. The room layout was off. The bed box and mattress were incredibly low, with hardly any clearance between the bed and the dresser/TV stand. The bedroom TV couldn’t get any channels, though the living room TV worked. The hotel is decent, but these problems made my stay uncomfortable, and I won’t return.

We’ll be back! The location was great, just a quick drive to downtown. Our room was clean and fresh, with a comfortable, warm bed. We had a king room and still plenty of space to move around. The shower was hot and had great pressure.

The sheets on one of the beds were dirty when we got back around 10 pm after an event. At check-in, the desk had asked housekeeping whether the room was ready and was told it was clean. It was too late to find another place, and both my daughters were already asleep, so all four of us squeezed into one bed. In the morning I showed the front desk rep photos and complained. She offered to change the sheets, even though we were checking out and had booked for just one night. There was no empathy or compensation for the poor housekeeping. I work hard for my money, and this felt like a joke. I do not recommend staying here. Save your money or stay somewhere else.

I left an item in the room, and they neither called me about it nor held it for me. They claimed it had been returned to the desk, but that's a lie. It's a $200 item, and I travel to this area a lot for work. On 2/22/26, I said I'd stop by to claim it. You can address the problem, but you're still doing nothing. Serly didn't let you know about the issue and didn't even bother returning the call. Knowing this, I'm not coming back.
