The hotel is old and dated, and the furniture was falling apart. On the morning after our first night, I found a bug watching me shower. It looked like a roach, though the front desk said it was a “tree bug.” They moved me to another room that day, but when I returned that evening, the TV didn’t work. I didn’t want to move rooms again. Then around 8 AM, kids were playing soccer in the hallway with no parent in sight. The hotel staff were dismissive and said they were kicking people out left and right, but apparently they weren’t checking the floors or cameras. I’d rather sleep in a tent in the middle of the interstate than stay here again.

The hotel is a little dated, but still a good place to stay. Our room was great, the housekeeping staff were amazing, and breakfast had a good variety to choose from. The front desk team were helpful and kind, including AGM tray and GM felipe. We stayed for a few nights and had a good visit.

This is a very family-friendly and pet-friendly place, and everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious, too. When our car broke down, the manager kindly let us stay in the lobby, and we’re extremely grateful to him and the whole staff. I highly recommend the hotel and promise to return when I’m in San Antonio.

My truck was vandalized in the hotel parking lot during my stay last month, causing more than $6,000 in damage. I’m an Ambassador Elite member and spent over $39,000 with Marriott in the past year. When the police asked for security footage, we were told there was no video available. The property appears to have no cameras or on-site security, and management’s response was essentially “sorry, not sorry.” Given the missing safety measures and the way the hotel handled it, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

We arrived late, but the staff were still cheerful and fun, and gave us treats and a little rubber duck. They were super kind and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. The pool looks great, and parking was easy.
