Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Austin San Marcos

The elevator was still out when I returned around 6pm, and the front desk staff seemed nonchalant. They didn't offer much help or ask how they could make up for it. I won't stay here again. I arrived around 9pm the night before and was told the elevators would be fixed the next day. I had to haul my rolling bags and suitcases up three flights of stairs. When I left at about 9am the next morning, they still weren't working. I carried my luggage down, and the desk said they'd be fixed by noon. That didn't happen.

The room was clean, but the bed and pillows were really uncomfortable, and the shower head could use replacing. The location and service at the welcome desk were the best parts of the stay.

The breakfast had lots of healthy choices, and we had a great stay at the Fairfield in San Marcos. Olivia, Jackson, Ethan, and Brandon were especially helpful. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel comfortable and made the visit memorable. Thanks for going above and beyond. I'll definitely stay at the Fairfield when I come back.

I was charged twice and couldn't get a response from the property, despite contacting Marriott multiple times. I appreciate that the hotel didn't contest my chargeback, but I shouldn't have had to go through that in the first place. The lack of communication was frustrating, and I'm very disappointed with how this was handled.
