Towneplace Suites by Marriott Savannah Airport

After nine years of traveling, this is by far the worst experience I’ve had with hotel staff. The manager and assistant manager were very rude and treated me like an intruder instead of a guest. Because of the lack of professionalism, I’m canceling all my upcoming reservations.

I was here for almost two weeks on business. My only complaint was the really old TV in my room, but they replaced it the next day, which was great.

We’ll definitely come back when traveling along the I95 corridor near Pooler and the Savannah Airport. The atmosphere was great, the place was very clean, and the staff were excellent. Pet friendly, which is a big plus.

I stayed here in June 2015. The rooms at TownePlace Savannah airport had serious hot water problems before 6am. I heard many people staying there complain about the same thing. If you shower at night or before 6am, on any floor, good luck. Every morning I had to turn all the faucets in my room fully to hot and leave them running for 20-30 minutes before there was enough hot water to shower, so I had to wake up early to do it. I’m a Marriott member and emailed the site managers. It seems that after some kind of renovation, the hotel had problems with the hot water pump configuration. I wouldn’t recommend staying until they fix it. There are many franchise suite hotels in the surrounding area for less money. The parking lot also felt cramped to get in and out of. Everything else was fine, as you’d expect at a TownePlace Suites.
