The hostess was friendly, interesting, and a great cook. We had lovely chats at the table and enjoyed hearing about her family. Breakfast was delicious, and I'd happily stay again. Thanks for sharing your home with us. I came with my teenage daughter and her teenage friend while we visited nearby colleges, especially Cornish & UW. We booked two rooms, though I can't remember their names, and had everything we needed. The vintage decor has lots of knickknacks, books, and personal items, so the rooms and house feel clean but busy. Parking was easy, with free spaces in front of the house. We were just a few minutes' drive from where we needed to go, and could walk to restaurants and shops too. Downtown was a bit of a hike, but we managed it and had fun.

Tina was so welcoming and gave us plenty of privacy. She made an awesome breakfast, and her dog, Acqualina, is adorable and super friendly. She'll even protect you if you're the shorter one in your group. We stayed one night, loved it, and will come back and recommend it to friends.

The yard was lush and green, and getting around was easy. We could walk to restaurants, or catch the bus less than half a block away straight into Seattle proper. We stayed three nights in a beautiful room. Breakfast had just what you'd want, a little eggs and sausage, plus croissants and yogurt.

Tina, the owner, was wonderful. She reminded me of my aunt in the Midwest, always putting everyone else's needs first. She was around for coffee or a glass of wine and checked whether we needed anything. We enjoyed the company, including a good breakfast conversation with a regular guest who was an art restoration expert. That's why we love B&Bs over hotels, the company and service are hard to beat. My wife and I stayed one night in the Marriage of Figaro suite, the same one Judy mentioned. I loved the balcony, and the room and bathroom were clean and welcoming. I read Judy and Merri's earlier comments and agree with their experience.
