It was my first time in Seattle, and the Art Inn made it feel like everything was close by. My room didn't come with a designated parking spot, but I never had to park more than a block away. The key system worked well and was really convenient, even though it required downloading an app. Whenever I needed something, customer service responded quickly and was helpful.

We only needed the room for one night, and it was okay, but it was freezing when we got in. It took more than an hour for the heating and cooling system to warm it up, and the operating instructions weren't very useful. Getting the check-in details by text was fine, but it felt strange to pick up keys from a lockbox and let ourselves in without seeing anyone. It felt more like a weird AirB&B than a proper hotel. There are lots of stairs and no elevator, so this isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Once I got inside, everything was fantastic: a really nice shower, comfy bed, good decor, and a TV with all the toxins’ (Netflix, Hulu, etc). Check-in was tricky, but customer service was super fast and helpful. I'd absolutely recommend it!

The location is close to downtown, and some rooms come with free parking. Rooms are small and chique, and there's no microwave. Some are much larger than others and have different amenities. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the pillows are extreemly thick. The downpour shower is nice, but the water doesn't get very hot.

I come here for work regularly, and twice I've been locked out when trying to check in. There's no reception, no response from the support number, and they don't provide the key card details. You're stuck using their buggy, broken app. There won't be a third time. I gave up trying to get into the room I'd paid for and booked the Fairfield Marriott in the freezing cold instead. I'm writing this from there. Never again.
