The room was great, the bed comfortable, and the in-room whirlpool was awesome. In the morning, a pleasant desk clerk went above and beyond, doing her best to keep the breakfast buffet stocked. The hot tub by the pool was working perfectly, bubbly and hot, even though we'd been told it wasn't working. When we asked about that, the clerk said she hadn't known it was broken, then thought maybe it had been closed while something was recirculated during extreme cold weather. We paid extra for a room with a whirlpool, so that was a bit of a surprise. Still, I'd go back, because I want to try that inviting hot tub. It's the bubbliest I've ever seen. We'd picked this place on the Choice App while looking for an indoor hot tub and pool, since it was the only one that came up. I called to confirm and got an abrupt "No!" that it wasn't working. The poor customer service continued at check-in. The clerk wasn't welcoming or even meeting basic expectations.

We've stayed here at least three times while traveling, and the staff have always been helpful, kind, and courteous. The breakfast is the weak spot. It's free, so it's not bad, but some guests leave a mess without thinking about it. We'll stay here again on our next trip.

I booked a room in person for my nephew weeks ahead and gave them my contact information in case there was a problem. The manager canceled it without telling me at all. We only found out when my nephew arrived with the confirmation number. That showed no courtesy, let alone any customer service.

The first room smelled moldy, but the front desk had no issue moving us to another one. We didn't use the coffee maker in the bathroom because it seemed unsanitary.

Adreanna at the front desk was the best customer service rep I've had in a long time. She was sweet and friendly, and gave me an unbelievable discount that made this lavish stay possible. If you're in Shreveport, sleep in is the place, and ask for Adreanna for that great hospitality!
