Willow Bay RV Resort & Marina

We won't be coming back. The bathrooms were filthy during our stay, and looked as though they hadn't been cleaned for months: toilets had crap on them, the soap dispenser was disgusting, showers were dirty, and there was nowhere to change or dry off except inside the shower. Trash was overflowing indoors and outside. With temperatures in the upper 90s, the bathrooms also had no ventilation. Our neighbors were rudely loud, and the only instructions we got were the bathroom code. The campground seemed focused on its permanent camper sites and unconcerned about other guests. Being close to the river doesn't make me want to stay again. We'd called the evening before to book a tent site and spoke with Brie. She said a wooden picnic table would be no problem and they'd make it work. When we arrived, there wasn't one at our site, so we called her. She rudely told us we'd discussed it the day before and that we could find a table and haul it over ourselves. That wasn't what we'd agreed to. My husband is disabled and couldn't lift one, and I couldn't manage it alone. The next day we left a message with a question and never got a call back. That's no way to treat guests.

A really nice getaway. The staff put in a lot of effort to make camping enjoyable for the whole family.

The RV spot has a truly beautiful view, and the gentlemen working here were kind and helpful. The facilities could use some care. I'd recommend the place and will definitely return, though it isn't really an RV resort.

The staff were friendly, and it's a great spot for a BBQ gathering. I had my son's birthday party there. The grill was huge and easily fed a large group.
