Travelers Inn & Suites

I stayed here three years ago, but the place has really gone downhill. I was in town for my mother-in-law’s funeral, and she used to tell us to stay here because she knew the family. She would have been disappointed by this visit. I won’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The first night, the tub backed up, so it couldn’t have been properly cleaned. There was hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor, and hair remained on the walls after I asked staff to clean. I requested another room, but the second was worse, with water running into the tub. They told me they’d have to shut off water to the whole building to fix it. I stayed because there were no refunds.

I asked for a refund before I’d even checked into a room. The clerk showed me four rooms, and I finally said okay because I was exhausted. I should’ve taken his eagerness to hand over a room as a warning. It was the nastiest room I’ve ever been in, with bugs in the tub. This disgusting hotel should be out of business.

A good place to stay, with staff who are mostly friendly and available around the clock.

We couldn’t get a room at all because the front desk clerk was asleep in the lobby.
