Downtown Motor Inn

The place is clean and tidy, and it's usually pretty empty, apart from a few regulars. It's right at the top of my mother's street. Warren used to be a busy, wealthy little city, though it's not like that now. Still, it's starting to make a comeback.

We only stayed because my handicapped mother was exhausted from the drive. Otherwise, we would have left. The sheets were dirty all over, the towels were stained, and the mattress had a big hole. Paint and wallpaper were peeling off the walls, and the place was filthy. I took plenty of photos. The manager wasn't on duty, so I'm calling to ask for my money back. If not, we'll be in court over this.

I was on a motorcycle in a downpour and had limited options, so I had to stop here. Within five minutes, my right arm was covered in bites and welts. It was the worst hole I've ever stayed in. I slept on the floor in my sleeping bag. Disgusting.

The room door stuck so badly we had to push it open. There was a bug on the carpet, and the room smelled musty. The hotel was quiet and sat in a lot with a closed-down business, and everything inside looked dated.
