Admiral Resort Motel

We picked up dinner from the restaurant a couple of times and liked both the food and the reasonable prices. The motel was great for our family of four: the room was spotless, and the air conditioning worked really well. There were kid-friendly activities throughout the day, including mini golf. We had a very nice first visit and plan to come back. The pool area could use some newer furniture.

The Admiral is in a handy spot, a block from the beach, bike rentals, and a park with a playground and splash pad. Our kids liked the pool and mini golf, and we made use of the two grills and picnic tables on the patio. The renovated room had a kitchenette with a fridge and freezer, microwave, stovetop, and cooking utensils. It was so quiet at night we could barely hear anything. Staff were friendly and kept things clean, and the coin-operated washer and dryer came in handy. The pool chairs sag quite a bit, so getting in and out of them was awkward.

The staff were amazing, and the place was clean and convenient to everything. I just got back from Wildwood and had a beautiful stay. It was my first year at admiral, but this will be my place from now on. Highly recommend. Shleiwet family.

The front desk girls were kind, though one kept brushing off what I said and repeating the same response. The manager was understanding, but the motel felt extremely money hungry. You have to rent a hair dryer for $5 just to dry your hair, the place looks very old, and the pool chairs seem like they may not have been replaced in 20 years. The windows are small and the rooms feel gloomy and nothing special. They smell good and are somewhat clean, at least. But this place charges $350 a night for what feels like absolutely nothing. I stayed somewhere else for around $270 a night that was modern, clean, lively, had a good pool, a good location, a beach view, decorations, and good service. There are plenty of other choices in Wildwood, and I wouldn't come back here unless I had nothing better to do with my life. I also heard from a friend a while ago that apparently they charge extra if you can't make it for whatever reason because it "slows down their sales." The place was barely busy when I was there, though, and nobody seems to be fighting over a room. I don't like putting my information online or causing problems, so I use this account with one review and don't put my name in my profile. I have been here and didn't like it. Don't act like I'm wasting my time stealing things from other comments to add to my criticism. Calling my own words AI-generated is extremely ignorant and just shows you can't accept criticism.
