I’ve been at Rodney Square for over a year, and the community is what has made me love it. I moved from PA and have never met nicer people; they’ve made it feel like family away from home. I felt safe in the building and neighborhood from the start. The prices are more affordable than other apartments nearby, which first drew me to lease here. Ricardo, the property manager, has been a blessing with his quality customer service. He clearly cares about the tenants and community. My experience has been great, and I 100% recommend leasing here.

I made a mistake moving here for the time. I’ve only been back for 2 1/2 months, and this is meant to be a smoke free building. Cigarette and marijuana smells come into my apartment and the hallway every day. I complained to management, got one response, and haven’t heard back since. I may have to seek legal action.

EDIT: Since responding to my review, they still haven’t called me back, despite my calling three times to ask for a property manager. I’ve also heard another recent account of unhoused people trespassing and harassing BPG residents and employees. BPG leadership should be ashamed of letting this continue. Avoid BPG properties at all costs. Management was terrible. I heard multiple accounts of unhoused people staying on the property in the “movie room.” When the A/C failed during a heat wave, the property basically shrugged. My boyfriend’s roommate’s dog was panting badly, so I drove over large fans and ice pads for their unit. Rent somewhere that will address issues and won’t keep your security deposit when no damage was recorded. I waited to write this, but have heard other accounts of young, hardworking people being scammed by this property.

I’ve had a great experience at Rodney square over my two years here. I’ve had little to no apartment trouble, and when a small issue comes up, maintenance arrives quickly and fixes it. Ricardo, the manager, goes above and beyond for the community and is always ready to help. They keep looking for ways to improve residents’ quality of life. I love living here and hope to stay for many years.

The Residences at Rodney Square feels like home. I came looking for a safe place of my own, a sanctuary and a sense of community, and found all of that here. The building amenities are amazing, and the property manager, maintenance, and concierge teams are top-notch, my “Dream Team”! If you’re looking for a home, come here.
