The location is good, and check-in was alright. Breakfast is included too. I’m not writing this just to hurt their reputation, but they need to do something about the bed bugs. The whole place seemed infested, which scared me most. I asked to change rooms and they moved me. The other room seemed okay, but on the second day I found another bed bug in the curtains. I told them and showed them the bugs, and they just said okay. I burned a few of them, kept the lights on a lot, and left most of my stuff downstairs because I was worried about carrying them with me on my travels. Please think carefully before booking. If you want to get infested with bed bugs, go for it.

I found some deserted spots on the hostel’s top floor. The first floor was packed, and the staff weren’t very helpful, so nobody seemed to know about those areas 😂 This little quiet place has a lot going for budget solo travelers: it’s near the center but still quiet, the beds are comfortable, the common areas are cute, and a dorm bed costs 50k vnd/night. They provide a towel and disposable toothbrush. But there’s only one bathroom, with the toilet inside, and after telling me my room number, staff just left me to work out everything else. They didn’t tell me my bed number or where the toilet was, explain nearby attractions, or even ask if I had questions. And yeah, they smoke inside!

People staying in the dorms told me they thought this was a good hotel, but the private-room guests had a very different experience. They complained that the rooms were dirty, and there was a fresh problem every time someone tried to get their room: prices went up, rooms were changed, or the room wasn't available. It turned into one front desk drama after another, almost a show. There are two locations facing each other, so it's important to know which one you're booking. I'm usually positive, but I'd avoid the hassle at this hostel.

Our flight landed at midnight, and by 1 am we were in a taxi looking for somewhere else to stay. The listing said there was an elevator, but our room was in another building from the lobby, about 100 meters back from the street through a hallway that felt like a ghetto. It was up four flights of stairs. The staff couldn't resolve our complaints because they didn't speak English.
