This is our go-to place when we want Chinese food. It’s consistently good, the portions are generous, and it always hits the spot. Tauese is hands down the best Chinese food in Samoa. They’re usually packed, so order ahead if you can. If you’re visiting or not used to the local Chinese food style, I’d try one dish first before ordering a lot. I’ve seen quite a few disappointed reviews from people whose expectations didn’t match what was offered. Regulars already know the drill. It’s a local favourite for a reason.

We had such a tasty meal at Tauese Seaview. The prawn fried rice and brown beef were full of flavor, and the corn soup was so comforting. Sweet and sour pork was a standout too. Good food, generous portions, and a nice place to eat in Apia. Highly recommend!

The food was nice, and the women taking orders were friendly, but the restaurant needs a better system. I ordered takeaway at 10:50 and waited until 12:15 for our food.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. The owners are unfriendly, and the staff are insensitive. They show no empathy and clearly don’t believe the customer is always right. If you’re hoping for compassionate owners, you won’t find them here. Don’t waste your holiday money, choose somewhere else! 😡

The location was the only thing I liked. I was charged more than the amount I'd booked, even though the place was already about 200% overpriced. And there was dirty underwear in the bin, presumably left by a previous guest. Disgusting 🤢
