Hotel Manila 1

The hotel itself is nice, but the problems made it hard for me to get by. My wallet was stolen from the bag where I kept my sports gear. In the room, the bathroom was tiny, the door wouldn't shut, and showering left the whole floor wet. There was a TV but no remote, and no regular outlet, so I couldn't charge my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I was stuck for several days until I bought an adapter. Wi-Fi only worked at reception; on the sixth floor neither that nor mobile data worked, and my credit ran out very quickly.

The room was clean, but there was no hot water for two days, and the manager was incredibly dismissive from the start. I was traveling by motorbike and she wouldn't let me park it even briefly to get my luggage. Breakfast was very poor, and the service felt like we were being handed charity. The shower was literally 40 cm x 180 cm, so you had to wash in sections, and there was no bidet. There was no internet and the TV was practically nonexistent. Checkout at 8:00 AM, with no warning, was something I'd never encountered before. I can't recommend this at all. Hotels exist because of their guests, after all.

The one thing going for this hotel is its location, near both the beach and the pedestrian area. The rooms are small, nothing like the photos, and there's no fan, which they should really add for summer. The floor is broken and the bathroom is tiny. I can't climb stairs, but they put me on the 6th floor. There is an elevator, but it only reaches the 5th. I absolutely don't recommend it.
