Laeken Residence

The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a living room overlooking the main street. It's only about five minutes from the metro, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and a large square with great architecture. There are two small bathrooms, one with a shower and sink, the other with a toilet and sink. They're manageable. It's up on the second floor via very narrow stairs, so anyone with mobility difficulties might want to avoid it.

The residence has plenty of space, but it faces a busy street and gets somewhat noisy at night. We had a power outage one evening, though it was dealt with promptly. There is no lift, and the stairs are steep and winding, which may make it unsuitable for people with mobility issues. Brussels Central Station is about 1 km away, a walk most people can manage, and tourist transport is easy to find. The central location also puts you near the main attractions, plenty of restaurants, a cinema, and theatres.

A lovely, very clean house with good furnishings. You do have to wait a little for the hot water, but with the cold weather in Brussel right now, that seems normal.

I expected less for the price, so it was a nice surprise to find a spacious, pleasant appartement. The bedrooms are far apart from each other, which makes it great to share. Well done!
