Comfort Inn West Edmonton

My cat settled in right away and explored the room without any stress, which made the stay feel especially welcoming. The staff were kind to both of us, handled check-in smoothly, and were polite and helpful throughout. The room was spacious, clean, and well kept, and the hotel felt peaceful and secure. Comfort Inn West was genuinely pet-friendly, and I’m grateful for the comfort and peace of mind. I’d gladly recommend it to people travelling with pets.

I slept really well, and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and clearly well maintained, even though the place has some history. The deposit policy put me off: because my koho card wasn’t from one of the main banking companies, they charged me an extra 100.00, making the total 300.00. That seemed odd, so I won’t be staying here again.

We were there for two nights. The first seemed fine, but on the second my wife woke up with red blotches all over her body. A doctor told her they were bedbug bites. We complained at the front desk and weren’t satisfied with how things were handled. When I called back, the manager was unfriendly and gave me the runaround, so I contacted corporate. They offered points that wouldn’t cover even one stay. My wife is covered in bites, and it feels like they don’t care. This is pitiful. The hotel needs serious action, including an exterminator treating the empty rooms, and I think it should be closed for at least two weeks afterward. I’m taking this further. I wonder if the CEO would want to stay in that room.

I used to stay here regularly when visiting Edmonton, but I’ve decided to stop because of the manager’s conduct. She spoke to guests disrespectfully, raised her voice, and wouldn’t let customers file complaints, saying management was in another country and nobody would listen. I also saw her make inappropriate, offensive remarks about guests in front of other people. That behavior felt unprofessional and seriously affected my experience.
