Quality Suites Quebec

The breakfast choices were a real plus: warm eggs, bread and toast, sausage, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffles, and juice. The seating area felt too small and could use more space. Staff were pleasant and could speak English. We had a family suite for two adults and three kids, ages 15, 12, and 8. It was clean, as was the hotel, but the room felt a little small and dim. There was a separate room with a king bed, a queen bed outside it, and a small table with four chairs. The coffee area had a microwave and small fridge. A sofa bed would have helped, and a sofa would have been nicer for watching the small TV than the dining chairs. We were on the second floor. There was an elevator, but our room was near the far end of the corridor, past five or six extra steps, which was a pain with heavy luggage. Parking was plentiful and there were different entrances to the floors. With three kids, I would have preferred a larger room or connecting rooms, but none were available.

We slept pretty well on the pull-out sofa mattress, which is unusual for us, and the room was spacious and comfortable overall. The room was quite old, though. The towel bar came off, and cleaning staff put it back precariously without a lasting repair. Doors slamming in the morning and the AC made some noise, but we weren't bothered. If noise gets to you, earplugs would probably help. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and attentive to our requests. The location was convenient too, with a large shopping mall, a Walk Mart, a grocery store, and several restaurants a short walk or drive away. Breakfast was the standard hotel fare, nothing much to say about it, and I skipped it. Thanks for a very pleasant stay!

The rooms are huge, easily big enough for 6-8 people. Breakfast is great if you like that kind of spread, and I do. This is my favorite chain for road trips, though it isn't the cheapest. The location works perfectly when you're driving and want to stay out of town.

The king bed was big, and the room had lots of space. Everything was clean, reception were pleasant and spoke English, and parking was free. Breakfast was good too, with a waffle maker. Old Quebec is about 15-20 mins away.
