Mountain View Motel

The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay enough that we’d come back. The bathroom was new and very up to date, as was the clean kitchen area with its new items. The bed was comfortable too. Other furniture was functional but could use an update. The place looks a little rough, though it’s clear the owners are committed to upgrading it. Check-in went smoothly, and the people were friendly.

For $160, this felt like a -2 stay. The bedding was disgusting, it was noisy outside, and my feet stuck out over the bed, which seemed made for toddlers. The bathroom was small but okay and usable. That’s a lot to pay for a 1 star motel.

A cozy, comfortable little suite, with nice pet friendly walking trails very close by. I’d definitely stay here again to avoid those horrible family members out of town, lol.

There’s a laundry room on site. A small wash and dry load costs $5 in loonies, and they’ll sell you both loonies and detergent at the front desk. The location worked well for us, just outside town, since we like walking to stretch our legs after riding all day. The motel was clean, and our room looked newly renovated. The beds were older and a bit firm, but we still slept well.
