I work nights, so after arriving at 7 am we asked for a room for the day to get some sleep before working again at midnight. At 12:30, they knocked and told us to leave because their policy doesn’t allow a room for the day. I paid $180 plus a deposit for five hours of sleep. If you work nights, or don’t support treating night workers this way, do not book here or support this business.

The service was good, but I found toenail clippings on the floor. The bed felt like a very soft bowl, and I slept terribly.

It’s on the expensive side, but everything about this hotel suggests good customer service and great rooms. Very clean and tidy.

The service seemed uneven. Some staff went out of their way to help, while others came across as indifferent. Management should refresh the front desk service protocols. On my first late night check-in, the receptionist was very kind and accommodating. Seeing my work clothes and the late hour, she offered me a quiet corner room so I could sleep undisturbed. But the next night, I arrived at 2:30 a.m. and needed to leave early for a flight from Prince George, so I rushed to the desk to ask for a wake-up call. The receptionist was on the phone casually chatting about life. I waited a few minutes and looked at the clock to show I was in a hurry, but she didn’t seem to notice my frustration. Thankfully, colleagues came out of another room and helped me. It didn’t seem to occur to her to ask her friend to wait briefly while she assisted me.
